Introduction
HCV Test Kit is a rapid direct binding test for the visual detection of hepatitis C antibodies(ANTI-HCV) in serum as an aid in the diagnosis of hepatitis C infection. HCV Test is based on the principle of double antigen sandwich immunoassay for determination of HCV in serum. Purified recombination antigens were employed to specifically identify ANTI-HCV with high sensitivity. This one step test only takes about 10-20 minutes. Test results are read visually without any instrument.

Principle
The HCV test kit antibodies to HCV through visual interpretation of color development in the internal strip. Protein A is immobilized on the test region of the membrane. During testing, the specimen reacts with recombinant HCV antigen conjugated to colored particles and precoated onto the sample pad of the test. The mixture then migrates through the membrane by capillary action and interacts with reagents on the membrane. If there are sufficient HCV antibodies in the specimen, a colored band will form at the test region of the membrane. The presence of this colored band indicates a positive result, while its absence indicates a negative result. The appearance of a colored band at the control region serves as a procedural control, indicating that the proper volume of specimen has been added and membrane wicking has occurred.
